Adding salary sacrifice

Learn how to add a salary sacrifice in a pay run with Payroller

Learn how to add a salary sacrifice in a pay run with Payroller with our simple guide below.

Salary sacrifice is an amount that an employee has chosen to sacrifice from their gross earnings to go into their superannuation.Salary Sacrifice for Super allows employees to contribute a portion of their pre-tax income toward superannuation. This method helps ensure compliance with payroll obligations while facilitating employee benefits. Salary sacrifice amounts are not part of an employeeโ€™s ordinary taxable earnings and are reported separately to the Australian Taxation Office (ATO). This ensures that the payroll reporting reflects compliance with tax regulations.

Salary sacrifice on Payroller is only available as a pre-tax salary sacrifice.

Post-tax salary sacrifice is currently unavailable, if you would like to see this feature please vote for the feature on our feature request board.
