How to add a salary sacrifice in a pay run with Payroller

Learn how to add a salary sacrifice in a pay run with Payroller with our simple guide below.

Definition: Salary sacrifice is an amount that an employee has chosen to sacrifice from their gross earnings to go into their superannuation.

Salary sacrifice on Payroller is only available as a pre-tax salary sacrifice.

Post-tax salary sacrifice is currently unavailable, if you would like to see this feature please vote for the feature on our feature request board.

Step 1: Click on ‘+ New Pay Run’.

Step 2: Customise pay run details.

Customise the Pay Run Period, the Pay Period Ending date, and the Payment Date, and select ‘Let’s Start!’

Step 3: Select the super amount.

The super amount is written in blue.

Step 4: Click on the super salary sacrifice box.

Type in the amount that the employee is sacrificing.

Step 5: Select ‘Save & Close’.

Once you have completed your pay run, Salary Sacrifice should now show on the employee payslip.

If you have a recurring salary sacrifice amount you can add this in the templates section of the employee card.
