Learn how to enable or disable STP in Payroller with our simple guide below.
To send STP data to the ATO, you will need to register with the ATO and then enable STP. Once this is complete you can submit a pay run.
If you don’t want to send STP data to the ATO, you will need to disable STP.
Please note that enabling STP requires you to activate 2-factor authentication.
How to enable STP
Step 1: Go to โSettingsโ.
Step 2: Select โSTP Settingsโ.
Step 3: Fill out the STP Settings and click โEnable STPโ.
Before you’re able to submit anything to the ATO, you’ll need to make sure that you’ve enabled STP and that you’ve registered Payroller as your software provider with the ATO.
Make sure that the Software ID in your STP Settings is the same as the software ID on your access manager on the ATO. You will also need to make sure that your software ID is connected to the correct ABN and Branch number on your access manager as on Payroller.
If you donโt know your Branch number, please get in contact with the ATO for assistance.
How to disable STP
Step 1: Click on โSettingsโ.
Step 2: Select โSTP Settingsโ.
Step 3: Finally, click on โDisable STPโ.
Before you’re able to submit anything to the ATO, you’ll need to make sure that you’ve enabled STP and that you’ve registered Payroller as your software provider with the ATO.
