Single Touch Payroll (STP) reporting in Payroller – new Payroller feature


Submit your single touch payroll (STP) reports to the Australian Tax Office (ATO) through Payroller when you complete a pay run.  

Steps to set up STP with Payroller

Step 1: Nominate Payroller as your provider with the ATO

Read our user guide on how to register Payroller with the Australian Tax Office (ATO) as an employer.

Step 2: Enable STP on your Payroller account

To set this up, log in to your Payroller account. Go to ‘Settings’ and click STP Settings. Fill out the form as needed and click ‘Enable STP’. Read our handy user guide on how to enable and submit STP in Payroller.

Step 3: Create a STP Report

From now on, when you submit a pay run, a pop up will appear asking you if you want to lodge an STP report.

Follow the instructions as needed. If you have an old pay run that you wish to lodge an STP report for, click on the old pay run and select ‘Report STP’.
