Learn how to set up your Agent account in Payroller. Get access to special features as an accountant, bookkeeper and/or BAS agent.

You can run payroll as an Agent for multiple clients with the dedicated agent portal in Payroller.


Please note that this agent account must be separate from your client’s account. Each account must have its own individual email login. Check out this guide if you are simply setting up an employer account and not an agent account

Open a Payroller agent account

Step 1: Visit the Payroller website.

Step 2: You will begin the sign-up process. Choose โ€˜Agent/Accountantโ€™ for your role if you are an accountant, bookkeeper, BAS agent, and/or other accounting professionals.


You can also select ‘Employer‘ as your role if you are a business that employs staff. Please follow this guide instead.

Step 3: Next, select your agent type and the number of clients that you manage, and enter your agent company name, and email address.

Step 4: and select โ€˜Try for Freeโ€™.

Your new Payroller Agent account has now been created.


The first card in the Clients section is your own personal account for your accounting business. You can use this to make pay runs for your own employees using Payroller. This agent account can be hidden from your portal in the settings section.

Verify your email address

You should have received an email to verify your account.


If you have not received an email to verify your account, check your junk or spam inbox. If you havenโ€™t received the email you may have set up your account under a different email address.


Step 1: Select โ€˜Yes, itโ€™s me – letโ€™s get startedโ€™.

Step 2: Setup your password and select โ€˜Submitโ€™.

Step 3: Select โ€˜Go to Loginโ€™.

Once that’s complete you are now ready to start inviting or importing your clients onto payroller.
